Awards Information Session

Do you know an outstanding emerging artist in your community? Or perhaps a committed volunteer, supporter, or teacher who exemplifies a dedication to the arts? Maybe you want to champion someone making immense contributions to our music community, or whose passion is working with youth in a creative way? Nominate them for a Toronto Arts Foundation Award!

Join Foundation Awards Manager Rupal Shah to learn more about the five awards being presented in 2020, including who is eligible, what makes a strong nomination, and how to get started on your nomination. There will be time for questions and snacks will be provided.

Toronto Arts Foundation Awards are designed to heighten public awareness of arts in Toronto by recognizing artistic excellence and achievement. The awards celebrate artists, cultural leaders and organizations whose work contributes to the artistic and cultural life of Toronto. Toronto Arts Foundation presents these awards annually at the Mayor’s Arts Lunch in May.

The nomination deadline for our Signature Awards is February 3, 2020. The deadline for our Emerging Jazz Artist Award is February 17, 2020.
