This summer, Labyrinth Ontario reignites its Modal Music in the Parks series with 4 outdoor concerts in RV Burgess park. 

For the final performance in this series, we are delighted to co-present the Turkish Music Trio with Toronto Yunus Emre Institute. This group consists of expressive artists passionate about the intricate melodic modes and rhythmic patterns of the Ottoman-Turkish makam system: Begum Boyanci (vocals), Ferhan Dogmusoz (Oud), Saghi Farsijani (Qanun).

This summer, Labyrinth Ontario reignites its Modal Music in the Parks series with 4 outdoor concerts in RV Burgess park.

For the third performance in this series, we are delighted to present the Labyrinth Trio. This group consists of Labyrinth Ensemble musicians present and future, who study with rotating guest modal musicians who are experts in their craft: Roa Lee (Gayageum), Naoko Tsujita (Percussion), Aysel Taghi-Zada (Violin).
