You’re invited to join Toronto’s arts and culture community for the 2026 Mayoral Arts Debate on Tuesday, September 15 at Young People’s Theatre.

This is Toronto’s only mayoral debate dedicated specifically to arts and culture policy in this election. It will provide an opportunity to hear directly from mayoral candidates about their priorities, commitments, and vision for Toronto’s arts and culture sector.

Artists, technicians, administrators, educators, cultural workers, arts organizations, and supporters from across the city are invited to attend and be part of this important conversation.

The 2026 Mayoral Arts Debate is organized by the 

Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts in support of ArtsVote Toronto and Toronto’s broader arts and culture sector.
