Host. Collaborate. Create.

PARTNER WITH US

Partner with ArtWorksTO to support skilled artists through fully funded, short-term media arts and arts education projects. As a host, you get to host a fully-funded work placement with a media artist or arts educator, advancing your goals and nurturing the next generation of artistic talent.

Why become a host organization?

  • Access fresh, diverse creative talent
  • Advance your equity and inclusion goals
  • Receive full support: artist fees ($5,000) covered, plus guidance from Toronto Arts Foundation

As a Host Organization, you’ll play a critical role in advancing equity by supporting the career development of a skilled artist who is building their future in Canada. You’ll work together on a creative project that aligns with your organizational goals, bringing fresh energy, perspectives, and skills to your team.

There is no direct financial cost to participate. Selected organizations will be matched with a media artist or arts educator to carry out the proposed project (of up to three months). Each participating artist will receive $5,000 from ArtWorksTO to cover direct project costs.

Get inspired by what’s possible with ArtWorksTO!
Previous host organizations have collaborated on exciting, youth-led media projects such as:

  • A vibrant educational video series about bees for PollenateTO
  • Bold branding and design for Toronto’s Newcomer Day
  • Custom-designed gifts for international delegates visiting the City
  • Interactive art exhibitions and creative workshops for guests at the Westin Hotel

Whether you’re looking to amplify your outreach, engage new audiences, or bring fresh artistic energy into your work, hosting an ArtWorksTO project is a great way to do it.
