Summer Music in the Garden

IN THE GARDEN OF THE DEEP BLUE SEA

AMBIENT ANCESTRAL

AUG 28 THURSDAY 7–8PM

An adventure in sound with artists from Australia and New Zealand, this show features stories and music of acclaimed whale songman Bunna Lawrie (Mirning Elder) and occupies a third space between ancestral song, whale song, Maori tradition and contemporary classical music

Summer Music in the Garden is made possible through the generosity of our partners and donors. Special thanks to the City of Toronto and founding patron and Toronto Music Garden champion Dr. James D. Fleck, our founding donors and our 2025 program supporters, including The Lewitt Family Foundation, Hodgson Family Foundation, The McLean Foundation, The Lloyd Carr-Harris Foundation and the generosity of our audiences.
