Afro-Carib Fest

Afro-Carib Fest (ACF) is a free annual weekend outdoor festival that celebrates the rich diversity of African and Caribbean communities in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond through music, arts, crafts, food, and cultural showcases.

The 15th annual festival will take place on August 22nd and 23rd, 2026, at Thompson Memorial Park in Scarborough, and will run from 12 PM to 9 PM each day.

ACF features a diverse range of activities including, live musical performances from professional local and national artists, a new “Taste of Afro-Carib Fest”, cultural showcases highlighting visual and performing arts, talent showcases from youth, dance competitions with prizes, kids’ zone with fun and engaging activities for younger audiences, including prizes, cultural parade, vendor marketplace, food trucks, opening ceremony with political representatives and VIP guests and much more.

The festival also includes audience engagement activities like interactive performances and African Caribbean drum and dance workshops led by local art professionals, where attendees will learn traditional African drumming techniques, Egyptian belly dance, Afro cultural dance, Hip-Hop, and more.
