Creative Champions Network: CCNx

launching in fall 2025

As part of Toronto Arts Foundation’s ongoing commitment to a vibrant, global city where the arts are thriving and valued and inspire connected, whole communities, we are proud to introduce Creative Champions Network xChange. CCNx is a dynamic, self-guided board development initiative designed to recognize and equip arts board members, volunteers, and arts leaders with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to serve arts and cultural organizations with confidence and creativity, and strengthen their roles as champions for the arts.

Participants will engage in a series of sessions – ranging from workshops, expert panels, case studies and peer-learning discussions – focusing on topics that explore the art of good governance. Each session earns participants a credit towards a CCNx Badge, which recognizes the leadership, learning, and engagement of arts champions. Three credits earn a CCNx Badge, and there are seven Badges to earn. Each badge earned not only acknowledges the culmination of our individual growth but also serves as tools to help organizations visualize the collective capacity of their boards and volunteers. CCNx offers a flexible pathway to build sector-wide leadership. No prerequisites are required, just a passion for the arts, a commitment to community and a desire to make better decisions together.

Whether you’re a new board member or a long-time volunteer, CCNx invites you to join a movement of leading, learning, and transforming the arts through the art of good governance.
