Toronto Arts Foundation is thrilled to welcome BMO Financial Group on-board as a Major Partner in 2013. This exciting three year partnership will help transform one of Toronto Arts Foundation’s signature initiatives, The Neighbourhood Arts Network, and continue to reinforce BMO Financial Group as a leader in supporting arts for social change and community engaged arts in the City of Toronto.

“Toronto Arts Foundation is committed to connecting every Toronto neighbourhood to the transformative power of artistic activity” said Claire Hopkinson, Director & CEO, Toronto Arts Foundation. “We are delighted that BMO Financial Group’s catalytic donation will help us build a stronger, more vibrant Toronto through the arts.”

BMO Financial Group will donate $225,000 over the course of three years, and this investment will help facilitate the creation of The BMO Learning Room, as well as The BMO Seeds Fund. The BMO Learning Room will be available on The Neighbourhood Arts Network website, and will be an online knowledge resource for community engaged artists and arts organizations, compiling cutting edge research in the field of arts for social change. The BMO Seeds Fund will be a seed funding program consisting of catalytic, $1,000 gifts, disseminated through The Neighbourhood Arts Network website to worthy arts projects revitalizing communities throughout the City of Toronto.

“We believe that a healthy arts program is one of the key components of a vibrant community," said Nada Ristich, Director, Corporate Donations, BMO Financial Group. "Our partnership with Toronto Arts Foundation is an important investment in our community, as well as an indicator of BMO's continued dedication to arts and culture.
