Support The Arts

You are a city builder, a community booster, an arts patron, a neighbour. You want to make a positive impact on your city, and on the people of Toronto.

You can make a difference today by making a gift in support of Toronto Arts Foundation.

Your tax-deductible gift supports our programs, awards and research and allows us to continue fulfilling our vision, Creative City: Block by Block, to connect every Toronto neighbourhood with the transformative social and economic benefits of the arts.

Ready to make an individual donation? Here's how:

Online: Donate Now with your credit card. You will receive a tax receipt via email within a few days. You'll also have the option of making a monthly gift.

Make a gift of Securities: A donation of securities or mutual fund shares is the most efficient way to give charitably since the capital gains tax does not apply. Your security or mutual fund donation means a larger donation for Toronto Arts Foundation. It also means a larger charitable tax receipt for you. Download and complete the Gift of Securities Transfer Form

By Mail: Download our pledge form and send it along with your payment by mail to Toronto Arts Foundation, 200-26 Grand Trunk Crescent,Toronto, Ontario M5J 3A9 or by email to dane@torontoarts.org. Dane will send you your tax receipt within a few weeks.

By Phone: Call 416.392.6802 x 239 and Dane will be happy to help process your gift.

You will receive a charitable tax receipt for the maximum amount allowable. You can target your gift to a specific program, or make a gift in honour of a friend or loved one.

Leave a gift in your will:

A legacy gift is the ultimate expression of the values and beliefs you hold in life. As you consider the distribution of assets to your loved ones as part of your estate planning, why not also consider leaving a legacy for a charitable cause that is important to you - supporting the arts in Toronto.

When you leave a gift to charity in your will, also known as a 'bequest', your generosity can be extended beyond your lifetime to leave a lasting legacy to support the causes you care about. A gift in a will can be a dollar amount, a percentage, a specific asset, or the residual amount of your estate.

To find out more about leaving a gift in your will visit willpower.ca or contact Dane at dane@torontoarts.org

Individuals and Corporate Sponsors can also participate by making a donation at the Creative City Circle/Table Host level of $5,000, which will bring you (and three guests) the added bonus of joining us at the Mayor's Arts Lunch. For a fabulous evening out while supporting the arts, consider purchasing a ticket or table at the Mayor's Evening for the Arts, which raises funds for Arts in the Parks. If you chose these options, your tax receipt will be reduced by the value of the goods (your meal & entertainment) received.
